This heavier splitting axe is ideal for splitting larger logs and firewood. The head of the ax is shaped so that it easily penetrates the wood and with minimal effort splits the log into two halves. A long handle multiplies the developed force. At its end there is enough space to grasp with both hands. The top is fixed in the head with 2 wedges (wooden and metal) for a more secure fastening.
