To ensure that the irrigation control operates reliably and safely, it is possible to protect against power failure by using a 9V alkaline battery (not supplied). If necessary, a soil moisture sensor or rain sensor from GARDENA can be connected for water-saving operation.

Soil Moisture Sensor

With the soil moisture sensor from GARDENA, the soil moisture is taken into account during automatic irrigation.
